japanese people are surely...creative? but this is surely a fact...a phenomenon? after hikikomori and now himono onna. literally, himono onna means dried fish woman. but it's a term that's given to a woman which...ah, i'm gonna talk abt this later.

first, i knew abt this from Prita. she wrote about this in her blogger and think that she's a himono onna...pfff...and...she has now changed her blogger header with a dried fish picture. and even writes a welcoming message: "makasih sudah berkunjung ke blog ikan kering". just what theee...??

my message to Ta-chan: even if you think that you're himono onna, you really shouldnt do that. i feel so strange just to look at your blogger!

and...TBH, i feel that somehow i'm a himono onna too. but at least, i'm not a himono onna on a working days. i only become a himono onna on weekends and holiday. haha...

SO! what is himono onna? this blog describes the definition of himono onna.

"People use the term to describe female who has little activities but mostly spend time online. They pursue simple life styles and eliminate complex social networking activities. During holidays, Himono Onna choose to stay at home most of the time watching DVD, playing online games and surfing Internet. They are single and they do not like to apply make-up. it is said that it's still acceptable if they take it for relieving their stress. but if they take it for everyday lifestyle then it is abnormal and need to be treated. the blog also describe more characteristics of himono onna. hmmm...let's see about it.

1. Indulge in animation, video, books, a person (such as singers and celebrities) , certain things such as hand-made, cooking, etc. Himono Onna once obsessed such indulgence is unable to extricate herself.
yes i do indulge in celebrities until the point that i think i might have gone crazy? but i think that i'm getting better to restrain myself now. when i was in the highschool, it was worse until all of my friends ignored me. hahah...

2. Rely on computer and Internet. Himono Onna starts do everything via Internet. Even without a reason or idea still she uses Internet. Himono Onna cannot be without computer or internet for too long because the situation can make she in a crazy state.
well, yah...i'm an internet addict for sure. but i only have time to be online on a computer on weekends or holiday. usually, i access the internet via my cellphone but now i'm getting tired of it because it's torturing my eyes and my fingers. TT_____TT

3. Instability rest time.
err...yeah. but that's because of my daily activities? working on tasks etc. but...if it comes to the holiday i'm surely becoming a "night creatures". i'll sleep at about 2 or 3 am. and yesterday was a bit worse cuz i sleep at about 4.30 am. i was finished at about 4 but then waiting for adzan Subuh anyway~

4. Rarely go out, like to stay at home rather then go out, too lazy to move. Himono Onna will take the time to consider whether to go to even it is an invitation from friend.
well, yeah. if there is nothing important then i'm really prefer staying at home sleeping, watching movies, or reading books (manga, novel, etc) :p.

5. Do not like to contact with strangers. Meeting new friends too frequently will make Himono Onna feels very uncomfortable. Without a deep understanding of each other's temperament and personality, she is not willing to be close friend with others.
yes i'm a bit lazy to meet new people. but trying to fix it by joining the organization at my campus. but still it's hard, i'm a bit shy when meeting new people and sometimes will get nervous until i dont know what to say. ^^;;

6. Possess two personalities. Himono Onna likes to cover up her inner thoughts.
haha...i'll hide my inner thoughts about something if it's needed. i'm not a to-the-point person. ^^;;

7. Possess addiction towards collection of one or more items.
hmmm...i dont have anything i like to collect. well, i collect some manga of course, some of them which i really like. it was worse one year ago when i used to buy lots of manga without considering the price. but because of the crisis now...TT_____TT
but i'm a careless person anyway. sometimes i'll just put it anywhere and they'll end up vanishing :p

8. Like to be single.
TBH, i dont like being single. i want to have bf...but...but...i dont know how to get one. hahahahah....XDDDDD

9. Like to write diary or blog and use photo to record her lives.
YES!!! i'm a blog addict esp to this LJ. and i love to write. but i dont like to put my photo here :p

10. Great tendency in love with virtual characteristic such as character of a comic book.
nyaaahhh~...definitely not me. i'm not a romantic person like the ones on a comic book or in dorama

11. Pursuit a sluggish and leisure life.
ahaha...i wish i could. sometimes i'll get stiff because of the holiday because i'll live lazily on holiday. but i dont like being too busy either. huhuhu...

12. Casually stand in the kitchen to eat.
hmm...i've never even eaten in the kitchen. ^^;;

13. Do not wear make-up and bra during holidays.
well, i never wear any make up. even going to campus. only use it on a formal event. but HEY!!! i always wear my bra!!! guh~...what is this? even they become this lazy to wear bra? >w<

14. They prefer reading comic at home compare to dating a guy
of course i prefer dating a guy. the problem is that i dont have any date...-____-;;

well, IMO i'm just a half-himono onna tho. what about you guys? hope we wont be becoming a himono onna xD. and for Prita, i still believe that you're not a himono onna. somehow...well...yah...just because.

aaahhhhh...holiday will end soon. huwaaa~...
